Odyssey-birds the wounds and hades

In the Odyssey birds, odysseus's wound, and hades all form extreme symbols.
first of all birds signify odysseus's return as well as conflict. In chapter 22 athena is a bird during the great fight in odysseus's house. also penelopeia sees an eagle eating her favorite geese that she looks at everyday. this symbolizes the end of an old time of her loneliness an the new time of odysseus's return.
Secondly, odysseus wound examplifies recognition, he used it to prove himself to his wife and father. also it is how his maid found him out.
Lastly, Hades, is samplifies a meeting of different themes of the novel as well as a point of culmination of the stories thoughts. when odysseus first visits hades he learnes about the people of his past and is exposed to the disloyalty that led to agamenons murder as well as the hospitality of the dead. the second time the story goes to hades is with the souls of the dead that odysseus killed. agamenon talks of betrayal as well as the loyalty that was shown to achilies. also the souls recap the return of odysseus and how he conquered his house.
